Happy Thanksgiving, American Poptropicans!

Hey, guys, Vampi here!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving for America (and yes, I do realize Canada Thanksgiving is in October… hope you Canadians had fun) and there was a bunch of stuff happening, like the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. Everything was cool, especially the Pikachu float for Pokèmon’s 20th anniversary, and Mr. Peanut dabbing. (Someone tweeted it here.)

But in Poptropica, they… didn’t really do anything. The only notable piece of Poptropica news is the Beach Party items added earlier this fall (why) being added to the app.

So with that, I wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving! Keep poppin’ it!

Safe From the Grounding Monster and I Need Ideas

Hey guys, Vampi here.

Writing/typing this on my way to my sister’s house for Thanksgiving 😀

Aaaanyway, the Poptropica Help Blog hosted a Thanksgiving party on their official Discord chatroom, the PHC. But sadly, my parents put me to work and I missed it, so I’m making my own party on my Discord chatroom, Trusty Bear’s Poptropica Hotspot Chatroom, or for short, the TBPHC. Join here.

Also, I’m ungrounded, because my mom decided, “hey, maybe Vampi shouldn’t be grounded during a free week.” So there’s that.

And finally, I have no ideas for series to do on the blog, so I’m up for requests.

That’s all I’ve got for now, because again, I’ve got absolutely nothing in the idea slot right now. Keep poppin’ it!

The Poptropica Bloggers Network and My Grounding

This is only a quick post since my mom doesn’t know I have the computer I’m typing this on.

So my grades are bad and my mom wants me to fix them, so she grounded me from all electronics (except for my TV, I can at least watch Netflix). So you won’t see me posting for a week or two or so.

But as soon as I got grounded, I got a notification on my phone saying Hyper Gamer, a Pop community member, says the TBPH is now part of the Poptropica Blogger’s Network. So congrats to the blog!

Anyway, I gotta go, before my mom catches me.

I’m Behind on News

Hey, guys, Vampi here.

So, I’ve got a LOT of news to share.

First, the new Moana ad on the Home Island. Since the new Disney movie Moana is coming out soon, they advertised it on Poptropica, but instead of most ads, they went all out. THE WHOLE HOME ISLAND IS CHANGED. Seriously, the Arcade looks different, all this other stuff looks different, they went full out!

Oh, but that’s not all. In the ad games (which I haven’t played because I found an emulator for Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap), instead of 1 prize, it’s TWO. For the first game, a dodging game (I’m basing this off of White Ice’s post on the Poptropica Skunk Blog and People Of Poptropica Blog, plz dont sue me icey), your prizes are the Water Power (which you see Moana use in the trailer, from the looks of it) and the Hei Hei Hat (a CHICKEN. ON YOUR HEAD.) In the next one, a timed search where you find 4 missing pieces to Moana’s canoe in 2 minutes, your two prizes are the Pua Follower (a pig following you… boi.) and Water Burst.

In other news, there’s the new #MyPoptropicaCostume Contest! But mom’s making me busy at home, so check the Creator’s Blog for that.

Outside of advertisements and contests, I got invited to Silver Wolf’s Poptropica Tips for Poptropicans! First post of mine already posted.

And now back to chilling with Pandora and watching my school comic book club’s mannequin challenge videos. Keep poppin’ it!

Yet another new blog, Creator’s Blog antics, and the first VSC pic

Hey, guys, Vampi here.

Today I’m making a new blog: Vampi’s Gaming Haven. Gaming news, walkthroughs, and more, all in one blog! First post planned to come out sometime this month.

In the creators blog, Poptropica Creator Jon Pitcher posted a video on how to draw a Poptropican head, with Skinny Moon referencing the PHB in the same post. I have to thank Jon for the video though, I’m attempting to make my first piece of fanart. 😀

And finally, I got comments on the post about Vampi’s Snapshot Challenge that were about the fact that you can’t comment on the VSC page. So instead, I’ll just put the picture down in a post and keep putting it in posts until there’s a right guess on one.

So here it is:

No hint on this until Friday…

Anyway, guys, that’s it for today. Keep poppin’ it!

Oh, look, another challenge…

Hey guys, Vampi here.

So I’m sitting here playing random games on my phone (like The Trail, Color Switch, and Bottle Flip Extreme) while listening to music through Discord (insert shameless self-promotion here) and a thought popped into my head. What if somebody made a bunch of Poptropica parodies of popular songs?

And there’s the challenge! You’ll have until New Year’s Eve to make a Poptropica parody of a song, and to submit, either email me at with subject “Poptropica Song Parody Submission” or PM it to me on Discord.

Also, I have a question important to this blog:

Sometimes I say stuff about things unrealted to Poptropica. Would you guys (and gals) be ok with me making a weekly or bi-weekly post about stuff unrelated to Pop? Cuz I don’t wanna make a separate blog for it…

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. Keep poppin’ it!

Vampi’s Snapshot Challenge, and yet another possible blog

Hey, guys, Vampi here.

So you may not have noticed, but on the homepage of the TPBH, there’s a new tab called “Vampi’s Snapshot Challenge.”

Well here’s what it is…

Vampi’s Snapshot Challenge is like Slippery Raptor’s Stolen Snapshots (on the PHB) or Photo Finish (on the Poptropica Skunk Blog, if I remember correctly). I will post a snapshot, and if it gets guessed correct, I’ll post the next one. If guessed wrong, I’ll tell you if it’s wrong and you can try again. Every month that the snapshot hasn’t been guessed correctly, I’ll add a hint, until I’ve reached 3 hints, then the next month I’ll just tell you what it is.

In other news, I’m making a new blog that will hopefully be as successful as this, based on anime, with new posts every Friday. My first post will be in a day or two about an anime with a great theme song, Chronexia and the Eight Seals. (or by its Japanese name as taken from Google Translate, Chronexia to Eitoshīru) Check it out here.

Other than that, that’s all I have for now. Keep poppin’ it!
